What to do with your Scandinavian pay check?

Why not get yourself a hobby like this:

That was great fun, now let's dig a real Swedish sub, one that Kremlin doesn't fancy that much:

We can do so much more than ridiculing your cute national ice hockey team in a nice little rink.

это серьезно!

Can that home-made sub dive beneath snorkel depth? I didn’t see any exhaust, so I assume it is electrically powered. Correct?

Nice toy. The military sub on the other hand is totally awesome.

“Can that home-made sub dive beneath snorkel depth”

- Perhaps not, but from what I can tell he managed to stay submerged and that is what counts isn’t it?

Greetings from Sweden and Long live all kinds of hobbies!

I was just wondering what would happen if he tried to operate in rough water or if he accidentally went below periscope depth. (I’m pretty sure the snorkel has a check valve, if he has any sense of self perservation.)

Naviation has to be tricky since he can’t see other vessels and they would have a hard time avoiding him. For what it is, I suppose it’s OK.

I think his next model should have the ability to dive to about least -10 meters and have clear glass windows for sightseeing if he wants to pick up any chicks with it;)

Chicks? Underwater? Ah, mermaids, perhaps!

Stick up a couple of pictures of your sub and photos of the “deep” taken inside of it in your cube and your date book will be filled up for a year. Post it on facebook and you’ll be beating them off with belaying pin.

What is it with Nordic types and submarines, anyway? This guy is an Icelander and apparently he is deeply in love with Großadmiral Dönitz:

“What is it with Nordic types and submarines, anyway?”

- Nothing really.

We are willing to crush ridiculous adversaries like the Russians at all kinds of water levels.

Yes, Russia defeated us at Poltava in 1709, but we came back with a bang some decades later:

WesternCulture, are there any serious politicians or political organizations in Sweden now, that are willing to attack Russia? What part of Swedish society would approve it?

- Overall looking, Swedish politicians are weak and lame.

On the other hand, if Russia would attack our soil or if Russia would begin to deteriorate and fall apart we would advance.

We do not need disorder.

Sweden will always view Russia as a major threat and opportunity.
