Wow, I thought discovery wasn't going to start until after the October 5th conference. Looks like it's full speed ahead, in which case we should know what's on the Hawaiian long form birth certificate (if it exists) real soon!

"Turner declared: The Government attorneys lied to Judge Land in court (in Columbus, GA) on Friday when they told the judge that the Flight Surgeon, Capt. Rhodes (who is the plaintiff refusing to obey orders for deployment until they can be proved to be lawful orders) , just failed to show in Court, when they knew that she was ordered to remain on base back in Kansas." I hope this is true and it causes the judge to see that the government is hiding something. Dig baby dig... the true is closer to the surface than at any other time.

It is arguable that the original hospital birth certificate is absolutely essential to demonstrate that dismissal is not appropriate in this case No it's not.
I'm not sure if Taitz is familiar with the definition of discovery or not, but she's not going to get anything from Obama's side until the judge rules on the motion to dismiss.

I’m a bit confused here. Now, who is Turner?

This roller-coaster has had so many ups-and-downs ... still I can't help but to be considerably heartened by this news. If this is indeed an accurate assessment, things are definitely looking up. Where's the "Birthers!" pic?

Go after original Columbia and Harvard applications - I graduated from each and each wanted everything about me, inlcuding my blood type. I am absolutely certain he applied as a foreign-exchange student.

Not sure what the following means per se but it is from Judge Carter's orders from Sept. 8, 2009. Somewhere I read or at least I thought I read that the discovery to be carried out is pretty much perfunctory in order to get the basics out of the way and or started. I maybe total in error on that remembrance.

iv. Discovery
The Court indicated at oral argument that it would consider whether discovery
matters should continue to be handled by Magistrate Judge Nakazato. The Court finds that,
since the Court and Judge Nakazato are closely communicating and coordinating in this case, the
continued handling of discovery matters by Judge Nakazato is appropriate.

I ran into Orly in DC, right in the middle of the march, and she said that the judge called for early discovery.
Please, GOD, let this be the case!!!

Wow, I thought discovery wasn't going to start until after the October 5th conference. It doesn't HAVE to for the defense.
After the scheduling conference the judge will ORDER discovery to start with completion dates set by the judge.
