And the Aussie Bomford thing certianly did seem to be resolved as a forgery, and he was dissimulating about that.

It was a "Certification of Live Birth". Those are printed up on demand, on whatever the current form is. The form is probably just printed at the same time, on "security paper", which would provided the background.

"At birth," Obama was a Kenyan citizen and British subject. He admits this fact on his own website.

Under the British Nationality Act, 1948, Obama's father became a British citizen under Section 4 by being born on the soil of an English Colony, Kenya.  Under Section 5, when Obama was born in 1961 in Hawaii or some other place, he automatically became a British citizen by descent from his father who was a British citizen under Section 4.

This makes Obama a citizen, but not a "natural born" citizen.

I'm familiar with the Bomford debate, as I was involved with it at the time, posting numerous examples of Australian birth certificates in an effort to stop people making fools of themselves. I didn't post in every single thread because I frankly didn't have the time to post in every single thread, but I posted in quite a few of them, and I read every single one I saw.

The bottom line is the Bomford certificate looks exactly the same as a South Australian birth certificate of the period should. The alleged Obama certificate looks nothing like a Kenyan birth certificate of the period does.

You know, I've been on a lot of these threads. Yet I've never seen a South Australian BC, other than the Bomford one, and also not an example of a BC from the British Protectorate of Kenya (the coastal strip which includes Mombasa, other than the two alleged to be those of BHO.

So which threads were these posted on?

BTW, I never thought the "red couch" BC was real, at least not after the Bomford one showed up, but I would like to see another Coast Province BC, or more precisely a BC from the Coast Province General Hospital (or whatever it's exact name was) from circa 1961.

If as Comrade Obama Jr claims his dad was Barak Hussein Obama Sr, of Kenya, than it's not possible for Junior to be a Natural Born Citizen of the U.S.

A certified copy of either the long form or the COLB would be sufficient to legally establish that BHO Sr was his father. The long form would be better because it has "place of birth" for the parents. Thus it would legally establish his father as being born in Kenya. Then all it would take would be a search of visa applications to show when he entered the US, and then naturalization records from that date (1959) until BHOs alleged birthdate (Aug 4, '61) to show he was not naturalized prior to BHO Jr's birth.

Of course if the birth records show a home birth (rare in '61) and the latest "protectorate of Kenya" BC can't be invalidated.. well things would be looking grim for Barry O.

Check post #78 - it illustrates the problem with looking at close ups of computer images - depending on how they are saved (most particularly the colour depth and compression algorithm used) colours when you zoom in will change - that is easily enough to explain why text may look the way you describe.)

It's not the same issue. The writing, including both printed and handwritten, on the Bomford certificate does not follow the wrinkles in the paper. That can be seen at no or moderate "zoom" levels in the full sized document. It's easier to see if you reverse the colors on the image, but it's there in the original as well.

Also there were issues with the handwritten material being overwritten by the printed, rather than the other way around.

Another thing that bothered people about the Bomford image was that it was put up not long before the "red couch" "Kenyan" image, and then taken down as soon as the match with the "Kenyan" one was "discovered". This lead some to believe that it was questionable. One theory was that both were fake, as the "Kenyan" surely is, and the whole thing was a trap, which many fell into.

Obama should be requested to produce one that is genuine by the courts.,not us.

Birth certificates are public records, access to which is restricted these days to prevent identity theft and other sorts of misuse. But being public records, the courts can authorize selected individuals to view or obtain certified copies of them. Hawaiian law provides for that. Obama need not provide anything. The Health Department of the State of Hawaii can do it.

I am not playing bait and switch. I’m explaining to people why one particular document if a self evident forgery. And I’m sorry that a whole bunch of people who believe in the forgery seem to have decided that this means a genuine document must be a forgery, but that’s not my problem. That’s their problem. Trouble is, it has the potential to have a lot of other problems.

I am not an Obamoid, or an Obama sycophant or any of the other stupid labels you want to try and put on me. Nothing would delight me more than to see him out of office, ideally, somehow with somebody more conservative (not hard as that’s virtually anyone) to replace him. But I’m not going to ‘deal in lies’ to see it happen. Nor am I going to sit back and watch others do so without commenting on the fact that they are mistaken, that they have been taken in by the lies of others. Because that’s what the alleged Obama certificate is - a lie. And a fairly obvious one at this point.

That is correct. However, not "eligible to the office of President" means "CAN NOT BE President". Impeachment is for Presidents who misbehave, it does not apply to a usurper.
