The GOP is poised for a strong return to the prominence. That will not be because of talk radio but because of the ideas and ideals the renewed GOP holds. Talk radio's job is to help identify those ideas, persuade our audiences they are the correct ones, and point to those political figures who hold them.

I wonder if Hugh will say anything about Mitt’s relationship with Meg Whitman. You know, the one we just found out endorsed Barbara Boxer in 2004 and maxed out at $4000 to her campaign. In 2004 when the GOP was locked in a tight struggle with Bush’s reelection, she backed Boxer? The most liberal Senator in the Congress. The most pro abortion Senator in the Congress. The number one backer and sponsor of Cap and Trade?

And this is Mitt’s big protege?
