According to George Will, Obama went to Copenhagen to talk about himself. Will said that Mrs. Obama used the first-person singular pronoun in some form or another, "I" or "me", sixteen, 34 times in sixteen paragraphs. His vainess, Obama, used it 23 times in thirteen paragraphs.

Oh I definitely agree, but I also think it has much to do with how he views his role and what chief executives are supposed to do/be. Have done some searching but wondered if that sentiment had stuck with anyone else.
