I remember standing on a bridge every wednesday protesting about illegal immigration. We shutdown the capitol switchboard with our calls and faxes. They said, ok, we heard you- close the borders first. That was 2 years ago. Have they done anything? No. They just waited a couple years and now, its back on the table through healthcare.

Have you ever stopped to wonder why the socialists have been able to further their agenda of destroying the Constitution despite the protests? The reason being over many years they have never wavered. They have persisted with their agenda despite any setback because they view them as only temporary. The goal is to have the opposition eventually succumb to the socialist will. That is gradually happening as reflected in your comments and many others who post at FR.

People who want to defend the Constitution need to steal a page out of the socialist playbook by implementing the same dogged, never say die determination. You should view not getting the fence built as a temporary setback while still hammering away at the socialists in Congress to advance the Conservative cause. The alternative is worse if we do nothing.

Exactly why I started the statement with I will call and fax.

I am aware of how they do it. I am just stunned at how still asleep so many americans are. I would have thought by now the whole country would be up in arms. I guess it just seems slow to those who have been battling a long time now, just like the poor soliders who are on their 5th and 6th tours.........
