But in case you haven't heard, Medicare has started refusing payments to hospitals when a patient contracts a nosocomial (hospital acquired infection.)
In order to stop nosocomials, hospitals must refuse any and all visitors and use chemicals and lighting that the EPA and Sierra Club would never tolerate.
So—forgive the pun—pick your poison.

He is one of the GOOD GUYS who has developed means to reform health care in such a way as to cut costs, improve quality, and save lives!!!! The key is to develop checklists and other procedures to reduce costly, wasteful and DEADLY errors in hospitalization, surgery, medical tests, and other forms of care.
The other thing is to study cities and hospitals, HMOs, etc, that are low-cost and high-quality, and to follow their lead.
This all should be combined with tort reform, greater competition among insurance companies, insurance pooling, etc.
None of this requires the massive bureaucratic and oppressive programs of obamacare, which will LOWER quality and result in rationing, and destroy our freedom.
I have been posting about such approaches on FR for weeks now, and no one seems to listen. Nor do my hyperliberal Senators and Representative (or their robot aides, whom are all I get to talk too) listen when I call or write—they’re too busy promoting the poisonous obama program. It’s easier to dismiss me as another “Townhall ignoramus”, while the really brain-dead specimens are the Congressional aides and even some of our representatives themselves.
Listen y’all—none of us are going to get anywhere just opposing obamacare. We need to present proven, compassionate, and non-totalitarian alternatives to win, including winning in 2010 and 2012 if obamacare passes!!!!
