I’m still trying to take all of this in. Praying for ones enemies is a Christian thing to do. Praying they don’t follow through with unethical practices (excessive taxation, illegal distributions to non-working peoples, sectors, industries and just plain government waste) is a good thing as well. I’m still pondering this through.
I don’t agree with all of this guys’ suggestions but praying for Obama - albeit in a certain way - is a good thing.
You can pray that his eyes are opened and he does what is right. We pray for this because if he continues to do the wrong things, we all will suffer, our troops will suffer, other people we know and love will suffer. We pray he starts doing the right things and abandons all the wrong things he believes and does and wants to do.
We can also pray that if he continues to not do the right things, that God removes Him in any number of ways. That he will be defeated politically, and even if it gets bad enough, well, you figure it out. Because that will be the only way left to give people relief from him and the wrongness he is doing, with no intention of stopping.
If I’m going to do any praying it will be that my aim is true...
