That’s just it-I’ve heard lots of words. Talk is easy. Nothing seems to change in the black community-except getting worse.

Well, Muslims claim “racism”, so I’m just following their lead.
Whites are still the majority of people in this country—up until 30 years ago they were around 90%. On top of that, if you want a line-by-line account of who built this country, and contributed the most, and most significantly, you’d be crazy not to conclude that whites, whether you like it or not, were (and are) the prime movers that have shaped America.
I am not denigrating any other race, nor forgetting about the contributions of nonwhites, by saying that.
America has made huge influences on Japan—especially postwar—(Douglas MacArthur wrote their Constitution) But the Japanese have been the biggest shapers of Japan, that notwithstanding.

That’s how the MSM sees it, at least superficially.
I think the MSM sees even black Christians as the easily duped stooges of the democratic party. That’s not how I see it, it’s how they see it.
I certainly agree with your thought on whites being a very important part of the American story, and I also despise the current demonizing of the white race. It’s all racism. But I also think that your comments (for sure the first comment you made) sounded like white anger and is not helpful. I think you are wrong to follow any racist lead into the same error. We must learn to separate out the issues from the color of a person’s skin. Does that mean that I am opposed to profiling in dangerous situations? No. Does that mean that I would overemphasize the contribution of one race over a majority contribution? No. Truth in everything is what I would want to promote and that we not confuse race with issues.

A good example is former congressman from Oklahoma, J. C. Watts, a conservative black man who is also a preacher, cannot bring himself to criticize Obama.
Who cares how many blacks are at the tea parties? It seems pretty ridiculous that white folks feel the need to validate a gathering by pointing out there were blacks there. I will never understand why white people are ashamed for creating this country.
I don’t need to see black people at a tea party to validate it. It’s the right thing to do anyway, apart from any group of people. I’m just glad to unite with my fellow black Americans as patriots, along with hispanic American patriots, etc. And I’m not ashamed of the white race of which I am a part. I do not denigrate the creation of this country because there was not a black man who signed the Declaration of Independence nor participated in the Constitutional Convention. I do not have a white guilt complex. However, I sense a problem with the attitude being displayed on this thread. In the current political environment, I think it is pretty neat that we can show that black, hispanic, asian Americans stand together to make a statement to this out of control government, and that they can’t say that we are a “white” movement.
Problems with that?

Looking back through old threads, I see that every time Joe Seale points out that some black men and women stand with us in our cause, some of you criticize him - repeatedly. For the life of me, I cannot see any good motivation in that. Enlighten me. Is your fruit good or rotten?
