I think any one should be welcomed-black, white, whoever, and I suppose it’s a positive thing.

However, I view the whole “Black GOP” publicity bit, yadda yadda yadda bit like I do “moderate Muslims”—fine, but, speaking for myself, I ‘ve heard enough talking—let’s see some action to back up the words. Talk is cheap.

A good example is former congressman from Oklahoma, J. C. Watts, a conservative black man who is also a preacher, cannot bring himself to criticize Obama.
