Of course it makes sense, and that is why I didn't flame you in 20 point font.
You did use a generic definition of duty, (doing the job), rather that the specific actions of this individual, which were available on the record, to reclassify THIS officer in this incident. That was improper.
Heroism rather than duty may be called into question only when you have a generic response.
