Grand Rants ^ | 11-12-09 | Gerry Ashley

Obama values people like him. Of course he values murderers more than he values our babies or our grandparents.

It's academic, I know, but what if Grandma is ALSO a convicted murderer?

I'd put her at the head of the VIP line if I was in control of the velvet rope. Those murderous grannies have oppressed us all for 400 years; it's time to level the playing field.

A fair number of grannies would tell you they don't need no stinking reprogramming, want to stay for dinner?

LOL!

My mom went back to work when I was 3 and my gramma [who lived beside us and was more “Granny Clampett” than Granny Clampett ever was] pretty much raised me.

My dad still calls me “Ellie May” because of all the critters.

*sigh*

I miss that woman.

[she would’na worn gloves, though]....LOL

Did gramma bring home fresh meat, too?

You said “all the critters.” Do you mean all the ones you ate or all the ones you own.

When she fed you fresh fried chicken...it was FRESH and an hour before, you knew its name.

The critters were the collection of various beasties that trailed along behind us wherever we went.

It must be genetic.

Injured and lost things still manage to always find *my* house.
