You hurt all over, and you frequently feel exhausted. Even after numerous tests, your doctor can't find anything specifically wrong with you. If this sounds familiar, you may have fibromyalgia according to the Mayo Clinic.

OR, you could be a chronic complainer with low self-esteem and borderline hypochondria. Therefore, you love and crave the attention and sympathy you get from people until they get sick and tired of listening to you piss and moan EVERY time they encounter you about how sick and tired you are.

Sorry if this offends, but I know a few people have been chronic complaining sad sacks who are little more than emotional vampires sucking the sympathy and compassion from every living being that pays any attention to them.

I also know a number of docs who claim it is all B.S. but are afriad to say so publicly because they don’t want the headaches from the headaches.

Flame away.

Look into finding a Bodytalk practitioner in your area. I know it may sound crazy, but keep an open mind. I am a huge skeptic, but I found a practitioner and have had outstanding results.

I have very painful arthritis and after my first session I had tremendous relief from pain. My first one hour session cost $60. As far as I am concerned, it was money very well spent.

Orthopedist John Sarno, MD, of NYU School of Medicine agrees with your assessment.

I sorta agree. I don't know if this a real or imagined decease. What I do know is that for some reason we have entered into a phase of human history that we believe we should be happy every moment and pain free every moment.
So its “take a pill”...........

I agree with you. It’s like “restless leg syndrome”

MS was deemed to be a psychiatric condition by many MD’s and shrinks for decades before a biological explanation was found. FMS and CFS are currently treated as mostly psychiatric in the UK.

New evidence published in the prestigious journal Science on October 8, 2009 clearly links CFS to a newly discovered virus called XMRV. This is explosive news, if confirmed by additional researchers, that would shatter forever the theory of CFS as psychiatric.

See:

http://www.nih.gov/news/health/oct2009/nci-08.htm

FMS is on a symptom continuum with CFS and may well be linked to XMRV as well.

It might be advisable for you to temper your distain for FMS sufferers a bit.

Thank you for your comments. The frauds mentioned previously should be exposed for what they are. I have battled for 10+ years to regain a wisp of what I once was and could do. With reduced stamina I remain a viable useful citizen even with reduced abilities and do not waste other peoples time about my health.
