Sarah didn’t even endorse her mother-in-law for mayor, because Sarah did not believe her mother-in-law was the best candidate. If I read Sarah's book correctly, I believe that she didn't endorse her MIL because she did want to be accused of nepotism or cronyism. Something she had already run across with others and locked horns with. It caused a bit of friction between her and Todd that they got over.
