As it happened my usual route to work was closed off today so I had to go north right past the coffee shop.

The memorial is very large, more than you think from the pics. There were about 7 people looking at it..

There was a truck outside the shop which had something about industrial cleaning on it.

There was a police car stationed in the parking lot and a Lakewood police car cruising by in the same direction I was going.

I was thinking that perhaps they are keeping a really close eye on the place since the "legitimate protest" which was supposed to have had 100 people.

It's good to know some of the websites have been closed down. I will look after work tonight or in the morning.

I don't blame you for wanting to throw up. For me it's all about wow, these people have been right here in my not so distant neighborhood all this time, while I was happily going about routine visits here and there.

Thank you for the hugs!! This has certainly been a hard time. I have a daughter and just wow, you know. Streets and places I had felt safe on for quite some time now have a new flavor.

I know. I looked at the map and I was shaken. Nothing will be the same again. Thugs, who dare to kill armed policed officers, even in the cowardly manner Clemmons did, are actually showing the rest of us that they have zero value for all human life. Just as Clemmons bragged, he wanted to slaughter CHILDREN.
