End Stage Renal will give you AUTOMATIC eligibility for Medicare A and Medicare B.

Regardless of age.

It has been that way for a very long time.

For companies that do dialysis treatment, Medicare only offers 270.00 a treatment, making a big loss leader.

These companies make it up from patients with private insurance. Take away the private insurance and thousands of dialysis clinics will vanish.

Also Medicare part D for prescriptions, which has a gap in coverage called “the donut hole” (Thank you George Bush). That gap will eat up a large amount of any disability you may be receiving, unless you live in a state that has some form of state sponsored gap coverage. And if I have one more dumbass ask me if I’m on “the list”, more like the lottery, I’m going to scream.

Overall, Medicare is crap coverage. A good number of physicians won’t even see you with it. When everyone gets put on a crap plan like this and realize how sorry it is, then it’s going to really hit the fan.

excuse me,
Not that I do not have sympathy for anyone suffering medical hardship, but:

THERE WAS NO PERSCRIPTION COVERAGE BEFORE GEORGE W. BUSH!

So, YOU are mad at the “donut hole”?

Quit your whining, before W., there WAS NO DONUT!

I wouldn’t worry about dialysis clinics vanishing. Many of them already ensure their profitability by regularly billing Medicare for patients who’ve never been there.

Wait ‘till the day you fork over $1200 a month in scripts and spend 3 days a week in dialysis, then tell me about whining. Prick.

People get sick.
People die.
Such is life.
Do not politicize your hardships.

You would be in far WORSE shape if not for Medicare Part D.

I think you belong on a Democrat web site.

You are a typical “victim” looking to blame someone else.
