Good article, good discussion, good words: Defund, Disobey, and DISSOLVE (appropriately shouted by griffin). Yesterday the House passed four significant bills before jaunting off to Copenhagen. I’ll venture a guess that passage of each broke House rules, if not laws. Because someone mentioned a rule and “spending limits” together, the attempt to increase the nation’s debt limit by $1.8T got temporarily scaled back to a mere $300B.
If we tried, we could surely cite another time when rules or laws have slowed or turned — however slightly — this government’s headlong rush toward being USSR II. We might find more than one example where the “rule of law” has had its proper effect; maybe several, if minor or temporary.
This thread doesn’t mention that we have an entire Chicago mob of thugs in the White House, and majorities of congress critters either so stupid or so scared that they only get off their knees to attend to necessary body functions. To deal with the thugs, I’ll offer another word: decapitation (spoken very softly and accomplished with great care).
Lock and Load (anyway)
Our tax payer dollars run the machine. Time to do some maintenacnce on this machine.

It may be easier than you think....if 5% of mortgage holders brought the financial system to its knees by defaulting...imagine what 10% or 15% “defaulting” would do. And you dont go to prison for missing mortgage payments...that would bring change...
Same thing but think mortgage payments...
By retaking the House in 2010. That's not sufficient to repeal Obamacare, etc., but remember, the House must approve all expenditures. So, no money, and Obamacare may be the veto-proof Law of the Land, but it's nevertheless a Dead Letter.
Of course, retaking the Senate as well would be much better, but also harder because the number of senators up isn't enough to make two thirds.
If it were, then the thing to do would be to pass a law Zero will be sure to violate, then impeach and remove him for doing so. That's what almost happened to Andrew Johnson, but, alas, it failed to make two thirds in the Senate by one vote. Ideally, some 22nd century pretty boy who wants to be president could get a brighter friend to write Profiles in Cowardice about the result.
Agree....starve the beast is something we have done as individuals for a long time.
Vote an starve the beast is easy to do if only all would.
.
The EPA is way down the food chain compared to that evil, corrupt organization called the IRS.
If you want a REAL revolution it starts by starving the beast.
Claim as many dependents as possible and refuse to file an income tax return.
Or...Everybody have the IRS do their income tax returns. FLOOD THEM WITH PAPERWORK FROM HERE UNTIL HELL FREEZES OVER!

Hello, Freepers. I’m new here, and clearly late to this great party. Don’t hold that against me though, I’ve been fighting the good fight on other fronts.
To that end, I’m working on a new website with Jack Wheeler and several others from To The Point News to get a “Defund and Disobey” website up and running.
We have some great ideas in place but we can always use more. We will be addressing many of the things that you have brought up here, however.
We’re compiling lists of ridiculous federal laws that are ripe for mass disobedience. We’re putting together various agencies and departments that should be defunded because they have no Constitutional authority. We’re gathering information about jury nullification. We’re generating petitions to be signed. Etc, etc.
The bottom line is, we’re working on rolling out a site like what you’ve asked for here. It’s coming.
In the meantime, if you have suggestions or ideas for things to be included in the content, please e mail them to me: mrapp at 4securemail dot com.
My feeling about this is that the Double-D strategy can be a unifying force that all of these various Conservative groups can get behind. At it’s core is the Constitution, so it’s not like we have to reinvent the wheel.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
While I’m a new Freeper, I think this is a great place to call home.
Cheers,
Mitch Rapp
