The whole thing is unconstitutional - why should an unconstitutional amendment slow things down?
Besides - they will probably strip this in conference anyway - don’t they only need 51 votes to pass the combined version?
I tend to agree.
But like so many other things happening in the last 12 months or so ... no one is going to push that issue into the courts. Specifically the USSC.
The the question raises its head ... will the court see things like we do? I’m having doubts at this point.
