Gee, a post with no substance, just insult. If this is typical of Palin supporters then she is in worse shape than I thought. Nobody has ever won a discussion through insults, but feel free to keep it up.

If nobody ever wins a discussion through insults, then I guess this means you won't be winning this discussion.

If I were to be elected as President of the United States, I wouldn't have to concern myself with fighting numerous frivolous ethics complaints, and thus I would be able to apply my full time and abilities to carrying out the duties of president, which I would enthusiastically look forward to doing for a minimum of 4 years, and hopefully for 8 years."

Why would Sarah think her being president would stop the slimey left from lodging ethics complaints?

The point is that they used whatever at their disposal to harass her. Whatever they did it was enough to get her to quit. It would be absurd to think that the pressure and the level of harassment would not be multiplied exponentially on the Washington stage.

The problem is one of a history of behaviour not rhetoric about future behaviour (actions v words). In that contest she loses. Remember, she doesn't have to satisfy the question for her million or so FB fans but for the 70 million American voters she will need to win. I don't see that happening

REALLY!!!! Yikes that's it.

Seriously though quitting because the press picked up some little thing and started making a big deal out of it is way different. It may not mean much to you or even me but it reinforces the pattern in the minds of many who just hear she is a quitter.

Why give them the opening?

You didn’t answer the question about who you prefer, you guys or gals never do. And isn’t it obvious you do want her to fail/go away? If not, why try so desperately and fail to come up with legitimate reasons why she is “unelectable”.

The unprecedented frenzy that she has your allies in (your fellow Palin co-detractors) is proof that she has staying power.

So your arguments fall flat, you unconvincingly state that she has no chance at being president and you’re wrong. You say a million plus followers on fb is meaningless, (how many other politicians currently have that?) wrong, and you won’t come out of the closet and name a preferred candidate.

What nobody seems to think about is the fact that Palin’s resignation was beneficial—rather than harmful—to the people of Alaska, and her successor represents a continuation of her policies. She resigned because her state was under attack, via the governor’s office, by political psychopaths.

Palin showed that she will always consider what is best for the people before her political career. This makes her more qualified for the presidency than 99% of the politicians who have ever set foot in Washington.

THIS MAKES HER MORE QUALIFIED FOR THE PRESIDENCY THAN 99% OF THE POLITICIANS WHO HAVE EVER SET FOOT IN WASHINGTON.

If as president she were to face a set of circumstances under which her resignation, due to the actions of political psychopaths, would be most beneficial to the American people, we have the luxury of knowing she would make the right decision while ensuring a fully capable vice president (perhaps a John Bolton or a Jim DeMint) would take her place.

I remember the speech, especially the part where she said that lame-duck officials do nothing but waste tax dollars on useless junkets and she didn't want to put Alaska through that.”

I suggest you read her book.
And read this interview with Greta Van Susteren
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2414780/posts?page=101

Pure nonsense.’

Naaah. YOU are talking utter crap.
I would suggest you lay off the 0bamabot Kool Aide.

Plenty of term-limited and therefore lame-duck politicians work right up to the very end”

And ended up doing much more damage to their constituents by clinging to power, when it was clearly in the interest of their constituents that they resign.
What matters most is the constituents, not the ego of any politician.
Sarah Palin is getting kudos from Americans right now(with rising poll numbers), because she put her state first.
You could try putting the county first sometime, instead of being a Soros paid shill for the Communist In Chief.

You wrote that she quit’

I wrote that she resigned. There was no “quit” in my post.

she told us what level of distraction was enough for her to quit as governor, what level of distraction would get her to quit the White House? “

Given that Sarah Palin already served 2 FULL terms as Mayor, same as Rudy Giuliani did (both Palin and Guiliani were limited by term limits), and on top of that, Giuliani never served as governor of any state after he'd been a mayor, while Sarah Palin has been a governor of state, no one was questioning Giuliani’s credentials when he run for president.
I'd say Sarah Palin is better qualified to be president than 2-time mayor Guliani, as well as (state senator, US Senator 2 only 2 effective years)Barack Obama and (US Senator)Joe Biden, both of whom spent entire their political lives in the legislative branch of government, and neither of them has ever been a mayor, or a governor, and neither has any experience in any Executive branch of government.

Are you holding obama’s experience up as the bar?”

American voters are.
If American voters gave 53% of the popular vote to a community organizer from Chicago, with ZERO executive experience, who had never even run a Kenyan village in his entire life, I don't see any problem with a 2 time governor(2 FULL terms totaling 8 years), and state governor, who had the highest approval ratings of any governor in the country, and has an unequaled record of fighting corruption, Sarah Plain, running and winning to become the next president of these United States.

Mayor of a small town (less than 10,000) and half a term as governor is not presidential material. “

Ummm..how many states have you or your pal 0bozo governed....for even ONE DAY, let alone over 2 years?
A State Senator who voted “present” over 100 times, and was absent for over 50% of his very short, half term in the US Senate, and has ZERO executive experience is NOT presidential material.
Yet he sits in the White House.

How about you name those presidents who had only that much or less experience...”

Easy.
Barack 0bama Joe Biden. ZERO executive experience between the two of them. Why, neither has even run a Kenyan village since they were born.

What's with the b4, are you in the fifth grade?”

Using “b4” on the internet means someone is in 5th grade?
Now why don't you let us know when you actually finish kindergarten and develop a brain eh?

And, you didn't answer my question....aren't you and some of the other newbies here to create a division amongst conservatives with your name-calling”

Th biggest 0bamabot zombie, rabid Palin hater, and biggest repeater of loony left talking points tries to use the classic Alinski method of accusing someone else of doing exactly what he himself is doing.
So what's new?
Listen I read Alinski too. You are going to get exactly nowhere with those laughable tactics. You will get crushed with your own propaganda tool.

If she runs she will have to deal with the question over and over. It will be phrased like this....

"Mrs. Palin, we know what it took to make you quit as governor, what would it take to get you to quit as POTUS?"

Having simply observed, thus far, the urinating competitions over Palin and particularly her exit from the Governorship... I would offer the following to both camps:

- Anyone on THIS SITE should understand and respect the conservative preference for performance in office over tenure. What one accomplishes (or keeps from being accomplished, unfortunately) is the true test of a GOOD public servant, not "Experience".

- Good leaders prepare the way, and/or recognize the need for others to follow in rolls that demand ideals-driven succession.

-If one is to champion a person, much more is accomplished by being able to articulate intellectually their differentiating advantages. "She Rocks" is great at or after a rally, but means nothing when detractors could be positively persuaded (this assumes they are interested to listen).

Your post is well reasoned. As I’ve written here before, I think that Palin is doing important work in shifting the party to the right. It will take an lot more than I’ve seen so far though to convince me that she is ready to be POTUS or that she can draw 70,000,000 votes.

“How stupid are you? She quit to keep the governorship from frivolous lawsuits which serve no purpose. She has been 10,000 percent more effective as a conservative since resigning. Damn ....how stupid can you be.”

Me thinks Allmost is a descendant of Agrippa’s. That or a troll.

The key is...will she be instrumental in advancing THE candidate, her or not, to that 70,000,000 votes?

Anyone interested in the Republican primary will want her on their side. The slams, disrespect and subtle digs will give way to butt-kissing come April 2011. I should think her value will be evident in 2010 mid-term campaigns

Many did not think a “B” Actor could pull it off either.

...she rocks... :)
