Always appreciate another honest, intelligent assessment of Obama. Thus far, the 'Reason-capable' have nailed Obama as a pathological narcissist and share same predictions for our future with Obama. As for his body language; one cannot help but notice the ever tilted head/eyes down/pursed lips of Obama in his best moments. The only good news, is at least some Blacks are awake to Obama; but, of course, not nearly enough.

The bad news is just as Dr.Vaknin offers. . ."Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting." And it is not constrained to race/color.

No question Obama abused his time while 'teaching'. . .moreso as he prepared his book 'Dreams' which by reports was more daily - and lengthly - telephone calls shared with Bill Ayers; who by all 'measures' has been declared as the 'real' author. So empty was Obama's life; that he could not take us there; and so Bill fills with recolored episodes from his own life and autobiography. Arrogant, Obama-as-naricssist felt no accountability and knew he could get away with this; and in truth; he was right. He still gets credit for intelligent authorship.

Obama is at least and for certain a 'fast learner' in one respect; he learned early on; that he could play the system to the max and be rewarded for his efforts.

Life will soon be difficult in the US. I feel for you all. On the plus side, the DOP, the party of pathological narcissism, will be finished whenever the dust settles. I hope it won’t be radioactive dust, and that a change for the better follows.

Altruism must be rejected to stop the insanity.

I used to yell at people who fed pigeons in NYC. They were being altruistic, and I asked them if they also fed rats because they’re hungry, pointing to the filth created by those birds. So yes, altruism can be misguided. But to what are you referring in my post?

The ultimate cause of disaster in the world is the morality of Altruism. By that I mean the idea that it is moral to sacrifice one person to another or one person to the collective.

I saw from your profile that that your location is Israel. The Palestinians have neither case for statehood nor moral objection to any military action Israel takes against them. The palistinians are fighting to establish another muslim dictatorship in the middle east. They are fighting to create a society where human rights are ignored. As such, it is preposterous for the Palestinians to object to Israel’s “oppression” as oppression is what they are fighting for.

Altruism is the engine that drives evil

All too true. The Polynesians altruistically offered up virgins to volcanoes (OK, in the movies they did) to keep them from erupting. Now the “international community” wants to offer up Israel to the Muslims to keep them from running rampant in the suburbs of London, Paris and Berlin. It won’t work. It will only make them angrier and more arrogant in their demands. If Israel manages to perfect cold fusion, it will all be over for the Muslim dreams of world empire, because oil will be largely obsolete. They’ll go back to herding sheep and producing the occasional doctor. That’s why they’re so eager to destroy us. On the other hand, Indonesia is allegedly a democracy, and Iraq might well become one, thanks to W and in spite of O.

“According to snopes, he has a doctorate in philosophy from Pacific Western University, an unaccredited school.”

Heck I don’t know the guy.. My problem here is your unaccredited school comment.

Berkley, University of Colorado and the List goes on all are “Accredited and have a phenominal collection of Jackasses Proffering :) themselves as Proffessors..”.
(OK sue me for the Poetic License.. everyone here knows I Kant spel either).

By your standard the Commentary and Observations of Socrates, Aristotle, Plato to name a few should be ignored as they did not “Graduate From “Accredited” Universities.

Pretty silly huh? I agree.

We have had “Accredited Experts” running just about everything in this country for quite some time..

They have just about mucked up every thing they had put their hands on, haven’t they?

Beyond a healthy respect for the fellas in the Engineering Department, and some of the Hard Sciences like Chemistry.. (all of which still need close scrutiny..( Thank you “Climate Change”).

I tend to consider what is said more than “WHO” said it and what they present to support their position. I think that is the wisest course anymore our Proffesorial class having proved themselve in the Climate Change Debacle quite capable of bald faced lies. Willing to play the Whore for dollars or ideology every bit as much as our elected and appointed Officials,

Yeah, but the point is that this guy has no credentials. Follow the link I supplied and you’ll see that he had to add to his website a disclaimer regarding his credentials. He has a Brainbench certificate. Anyone can get a Brainbench certificate. Anyone can take the online test for you to get you a Brainbench certificate.

If you follow the links to his book on amazon.com, read the four overwrought reviews and guess at who wrote them.

And his name is not new to me. He’s been getting over on people for a long time on the internet. On the defunct Blue Ear mailing list, for instance. That was a mostly left-wing collection of well-read folk and he seemed to have had them snookered too.

>>When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don’t know it until it is too late.

I dubbed In Living Colour’s Cult of Personality the unofficial theme song of the Obama campaign fairly early on. Here is an example from March of 2008:

Cult of Personality

By the way, the song lyrics even mention a Nobel Prize!

Ok were close.

Thank you for taking the time to go into more detail..Is the conflict really over the author’s “Credentials”. Rather than the content of his commentary?

If so..

It has more than been demonstrated we have people out there with Masters even Doctorates from “accredited Universities that mean nothing.

One case comes to mind where a Minority is actually holding down the position of School Superintendent. Reportedly he has failed twice now to pass general exams for competency required of everyone in a teaching position within his own School District including his position as Superintendent of Schools. Is it reasonable to believe the fellow has an an “accredited” degree from a prestigious University no doubt..lol.

We have Teachers and their Unions routinely fighting against the ongoing testing of teachers for core competencies.

These two example demonstrate my point. That an Accredited Degree means not that much today..Certainly not competency.
Nothing like what it did in the past and rightfully so.

The importance of credentails at this time is fairly suspect... they have become more like a Union Card than any real proof of intelectual Prowess.

What else are we to conclude when it is pretty clear the Proffesorial Class is excluding from their Graduate Programs as well as University Positions those who disagree with their Liberal Orthodoxy?

I for one will not dismiss out of hand what appears to be a reasonable argument unless someone can make an equally reasonable argument that refutes it..

Attacking the article’s author in this case is no different than attacking persons of prominence as individuals rather than the comments and positions they take.

If we are offended when that is done to a person of prominence (as we should be) we should be equally offended at attempts to silence criticisims made by persons of lessor note on the basis of attacks on the person (in this case attacking their Credentials) and not the content of their commentary.

We understand the English Language a beautiful and precise language it is indeed.

I for one will not acceed to the notion one must be the possesor of a certain set of credentials in order to use it to communicate and to convince others of the merit of ones position.

For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?

And the tragedy of a drug-addled narcissist who is functionally illiterate, and has to have a murderous traitor domestic terrorist write his autobiography for him, is exceeded only by the hyper-tragedy of allow that drug-addled illiterate narcissist to be placed into high office in a Soros-managed coup.

It is interesting to note that while President Obama has given
INTERPOL immunity from the laws protecting the rights of US
citizens, he has extended the protection of rights, through the
granting of criminal trials, to non-citizens who engaged in the 9/11
attacks.

Though it may be an obvious point for this audience, comparisons
like this make it all the more clear that he is not only a statist, but
an anti-American statist.
