I highly recommend reading the entire series. It's better than most novels of this genres, and it's free for the reading.

It paints an accurate picture of our monetary system, and why it is doomed to failure.
It shows one of many possible outcomes. I don’t think it would be so easy to impose media censorship, for example. But the death of the dollar is baked in the cake.
There’s a new entry posted (as of Monday, as best I can tell).
This one’s even got an FR reference in it. ;-)
