Jeremiah Wright could maybe take a preaching job in D.C. Obama would attend there.

The article is misleading. It talks about two preachers who backed Obama during his campaign, and sort of implies that they’ve changed their minds since then. But it doesn’t come out and say that.

And I don’t think they have changed their minds, because socialism is a part of their world view. Caldwell’s church prides itself on being able to form tax-exempt organizations receiving government financing, ostensibly for community service. (Reminds me of a line in a W.C. Fields movie. His daughter chides him for conning people, and he says, “I’m like Robin Hood, taking from the rich and giving to the poor.” “What poor?” she asks. “Us poor,” he answers.) And they give classes on how to emulate them and take advantage of that free government money.

I don't know if he is a Muslim. I doubt it. But he isn't a Christian. One can be all sorts of things and be a Christian. A monarchist, a republican, a liberal...it is a huge tent. But one thing is prohibited. And Obama's church was dead set against Galatians 3:28. That verse, paring away everything else is what determines who can call themselves a Christian and who cannot.
