There is an interesting statement in the
Boston Globe article about their poll that has Coakley up by 15.
...both were at 47 percent - among the roughly 1 in 4 respondents who said they were “extremely interested’’ in the race
Assuming the turnout will be very low in this race it seems to me that this 1 in 4 who are extremely interested in the race really makes up the likely voter pool and as such the race is even among those who really are likely to come out and vote.
