Prayers up. I am a former member of this church in Hackettstown and they have been doing this mission team for years.

Also pray for missionary couple, Barb and Patrick Latiadde. Not sure of spelling. Barb is in the hospital with heavy bleeding and Patrick is stuck in rubble. He is alive and they are trying to get him out. They have been able to get food and water to him.

I went to Haiti in college on a humanitarian church mission and stayed in the Methodist mission, high on top of the mountain overlooking the sea port in Port au Prince.

Prayers for this group and their families.

Medical supplies might be worth more than guns and ammo..
Only an idiot would broadcast they were bring meds to Haiti..
Might of said they were bringing GOLD bars...

There was something on our news about a Virginia team who’s missing too, but I haven’t been able to track it down. Prayers for them all.

Thank God they are back and safe now....but why did they leave, isn’t this when the Haitians need God the most? Perhaps it is better to return back to the States so as to alleviate the burden of rescue workers, but I’m not getting the urgency of their return when they are there in the first place providing services, hope, and faith to an impoverished country. Please don’t think me harsh, I’m just curious how that changed after the earthquake.
