The Bostonian Drunkard, who hasn't yet said anything in defense of an old pal and co-author of his, like a gentleman would, has a four-year college degree in literature.
As such, in Massachusetts (as in many other states), that qualifies him to be a "substitute teacher," although one needs a degree in education to be a fully-fledged teacher.
The Bostonian Drunkard used to substitute-teach, a day or a couple of days a week, or four or five days a month, for beer-money.
The Bostonian Drunkard no longer substitute-teaches.
Apparently there was some sort of out-of-court settlement in which the victim(s) were compensated.
If such are the facts of the matter, one hopes the monies were taken out of the Bostonian Drunkard's trust fund, and not from his mother's or his uncle's checkbooks.
I knew there was a questionable issue related to a teaching position. Birds of a feather...and such.
