I think it’s because we are training Afstan forces (Haji) to fight the Taliban with our American weapons. I think ABC broke this story not sure. Anyway US shows weakness again the Rag Heads have got be laughing their A$$es off.

General David Petraeus has called the references "a serious concern" and "disturbing."

Get serious, General. There are more important things to be concerned about. Political Correctness is disturbing.

Cowboy up, General.

Some soldiers and Marines have been concerned about being captured by the terrorist enemy with weapons bearing Christian bible verses such as JN8:12.

Meaning no disrespect, but if this war has proven anything it's that any U.S. soldier taken by Taliban or al Qaida has more important things to worry about then some Bible verse on his sight.

I’m hoping Trijicon is sitting on a warehouse full of verse marked scopes and will flood the civvie market with them. I’ve wanted a trijicon for years, but they’re a little pricey.

It wasn’t some idiot muzzie who kicked up this fuss, it was MICHAEL WEINSTEIN, from the very dishonestly named, “Military Religious Freedom Foundation”. http://wwww.mrff.org

Many parts of his dihonest page feature aged Constitution scrolls, or make you half imagine that Ben Franklin will stroll out with buckle shoes, powdered wig, and half-moon glasses, but I asssssuuuure you he is all about stamping on the bibles of US military people:

He was a USAF J.A.G. puke who worked —of all people— for Ronald Reagan, then made some bucks in the private sector suing folks for Ross Perot. Then he retired at from 2006 and has for the past 4 years been waging Secular Jihad against men who treacherously fight muslim folks who throw acid on girls and say Jews are monkeys (don’t ask me).

Sounds crazy huh? He’s overweight, ugly, angry, and other bad stuff —things you can see from the news broadcast clips he has at his website:

http://www.militaryreligiousfreedom.org/weinstein2.html

Yes, while we are out trying to head off Armageddon or widespread terror, this guy chooses to focus on stuff that’s written on rifles —amazing, isn’t it?

I do not understand what drives this incredibly deluded, zeppelin-like REMF’ing insect.

They are but well worth it if you can afford one. I'm saving up for one. I hope they stand up to this Bulls#it at some point.

Well, without admitting any connection to the Bible, who is to say Tricon couldn’t come out with a new model, the Tricon JN8:12? Just a coincidence...officially.

I was thinking along the lines of a part number...

Too bad that General Petraeus backed down.
Sterile gunsights won't help U.S. servicemen & servicewomen in the event of capture.
