Yesterday, Harry Reid signaled surrender on ObamaCare, seven long months after he and Nancy Pelosi promised to complete it in just six weeks — but did they give up in time? Rasmussen has put the opposition to the Democrats’ plan in double digits since fall, but Rasmussen polls likely voters. CNN’s latest poll of adults should have given Democrats their most sympathetic sample, but respondents give Reid, Pelosi, and Barack Obama even worse news on their attempt to overhaul the American health-care system:

Dick Morris predicted Zerocare would be dead if poll numbers slipped into the 30s. As they now have.
Expanding support for families balancing work with caring for elderly relatives with a $102.5 million Caregiver Initiative adding $52.5 million in funding to Department of Health and Human Services caregiver support programs that provide temporary respite care, counseling, training, and referrals to critical services. The administration says the extra funding will allow nearly 200,000 additional caregivers to be served and 3 million more hours of respite care to be provided. It also adds $50 million to programs that provide transportation help, adult day care, and in-home services, such as aides to help seniors bathe and cook, help which eases the burden for family members and helps seniors stay in their homes.

Let's HOPE that for once his unblemished record CHANGES on matters other than Clinton and he's right on this one.
He also predicted that the House would pass the Senate bill. I think Dick Morris makes his predictions based on the tried and true "coin flipping method".
In fairness to our toe-sucking friend, that was really more of a report of a plan than an actual prediction.

As bad as the CNN poll is, the scenario is worse, because it is a CNN poll.
That was yesterday. Last week he made a flat out prediction that the House would pass the Senate bill. It was unequivocal and a stupid thing to say. It was right after the MA election and before Nancy admitted to not having the votes. But even at that point most here on FR recognized that Obamacare-SenateStyle was deader than a doornail. If Morris is so smart he should have seen it too.
