Duncan Hunter Slams the Obama Adminstration over push for Gays in the Military
Telecon | 2/4/10 | AJM/DH

Posted on 02/04/2010 6:32:16 PM PST by pissant

AJM: Hello Mr. Hunter. I’m sure you’ve seen the news. Your son, Duncan D., has been getting hammered in the left-wing media and blogs for defending the Military’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy.

DH: Yeah, I’ve noticed that. He must be doing something right (laughs). He’s doing a great job, as evidenced by the frothing attacks from the homosexual lobby, the media and their democrat allies. I talked to Duncan, called him up. Gave him some encouragement and a few ideas. But he’s doing great.

AJM: Have you had a chance to write anything up on this?

DH: No, I’ve been so busy. I haven’t had a chance to write anything on this yet. But I think I may get on the TV out in Texas. I’m going to see my cousin out there, who is real sick. Probably leave tomorrow. But I might be able to do a television interview out there on this.

AJM: Can you briefly summarize what your thoughts on this are?

DH: Well, I think that it’s disgraceful! It’s insulting that after nine years of our guys in uniform being deployed in inconvenient and dangerous places fighting for this country, for the Obama Administration to be prying this back open now. Especially from a President who has very limited knowledge of military life and who looks to socialist countries for ideas.

Now with Colin Powell on their side, they are going to really try to push this thing. The military leaders supporting the Administration seemed to have forgotten what the mission is. It isn’t social experiments to please the liberal democrats. I think it’s a real tragedy for these leaders to go along with this nutty idea.

No one talks about the absolute invasion of privacy. For these young men and women to have to be in extremely close quarters, shower with, live with essentially, people that will have a sexual attraction to them. That is unacceptable.

Most kids that join the military make a decision in conjunction with their families. And they do so, often times, because of its wholesome reputation and support of the traditional, conservative values that these young men and women and their families hold. It would be very detrimental to let a group of leftwing activists destroy that.

They are pushing this without thinking through its effects on National security. And affecting a National Security issue with a political decision is generally damaging. And this attempt by the Obama Administration to re-open this question and re-force this question is in that category.

I know that we did a lot of work, a lot of research when Bill Clinton tried to pay off his campaign contributors in the homosexual community in 1992 by opening up the military to their ranks. I know the enormous amount of research we did, the enormous amount of testimony we elicited in the Republican Research Committee during the hearings we held on it.

AJM: The big argument they are making that I’ve seen time and again, including from Mr. Kerry, who attacked your son, Senator Kerry that is, is that “times have changed” and it’s time now has finally come. How do you respond to that argument, that times have changed?

DH: His answers may change, but values haven’t!

But listen, I’ve got to walk in the door and meet some guys. That ought to give you plenty of ammo for now.

AJM: Absolutely. Thanks again and have a great rest of the day.

Yes it would. And then they’d be demanding all kinds of other things on top of just being allowed in. Just like in society at large.

That’s a good idea. Put all the gay sailors on one ship. Of course, not much work would get done.

Next time they’ll have to spell it COREMAN on the teleprompter so he’ll at least pronounce it right.

“What he doesn’t have is a friendly media that gave him more than 5 minutes for every 20 they gave to the Romneys and McCains.”

You got it. I wish there were a very wealthy conservative person, or corporation, that would buy one of the free tv stations, or start a new one. FoxNews isn’t enough, nor is fair and balanced. Conservatives need their own station, too.

I wish the Tea party crowd had existed during the last election. We would have eliminated the Romneys and McCains right off the top.

However, McCain was pretty much dead last till he was the last man still standing.

“I think he would have made a great President.”

Agree 100%.

The only thing in this interview that bothers me is “They are pushing this without thinking through its effects on National security”, because IMO they ARE thinking it through. They hate the military, and they hate the military professionals. They want to demoralize the military.

What better way to demoralize the military than to sic the perfumed, pink panties division on them. This would ruin the recruiting numbers, and cause many to refuse to reenlist, eventually causing the return of the draft the Leftists have wanted for Social Engineering, and control.

There would be no military as we understand the military today under the Leftists. It would all be Political nonsense under the control of the United Nations, and the start of it all is to force out those that are the real, the true military fighting machine, and turn it into a Social Club.

end rant.

Exactly my point. How would YOU like to share a foxhole with either of them, and they want to share fox holes AND A$$ Haoles!!!!

Definite problem. It will destroy our all volunteer military because the Christian patriots who comprise the majority of our volunteer military will no longer volunteer if the have to serve with openly practising sodomites.

Shite on a stick!!!!

Obama means to destroy our economy, our health care,, our auto industry, our banks, and now he wants to destroy the military.

I'd say Obama is reaching the end of his string with America.America will hand him a rope, or put him on the end of one.

Yeah, at one point Obama thought he was a blow up air mattress, according to Sinclair. And we have that parasitic sodomite as a president.

I'd say that America is rapidly losing patience with this ideologue. He has shite for brains. He could care less whether we have an effective military or not.

“And then they’d be demanding all kinds of other things on top of just being allowed in. Just like in society at large.”

@@@@@@@@@@@

That is truly the point of this. If being gay is so compatible with normal life, why do we separate anyone? We do it because it is prudent.

“Just like in society at large”, we keep healthy heterosexual males from showering with healthy heterosexual females in gym classes to honor personal privacy issues and decorum.

If the U.S. Military says gays can openly lust after a naked body then what is to prevent this philosophy from going viral where your kids will be showering co-ed in high school? Your Grandma at swimming class will be forced to change into her swimsuit in a co-ed dressing room.

Homosexuals are pushing the envelope. IMO

A reliable freeper who wishes to remain anonymous freepmailed me this today, and gave permission for me to post it on a suitable thread.

Personal stories are very useful.

I don’t know the gays at Al-Kharj, SA (or Al’s Garage) is worth a thread but maybe a few posts down the road arguing against a homo-sexualized military.

Well it may be a relief that the contingent of homos that were stationed at a desolated air base in the middle of the Saudi Arabian desert were not Americans. They were a small flight of about 50 to 90, my guess-estimate, of French troops that maintained 4 Mirage-5 fighter jets in support of Southern Iraq’s no fly zone in the mid 1990s.

The base was almost entirely made up of tents that housed the troops of over 2 thousand. There were buildings as those were hangers and work shops around the flightline area. About 15 men in my tent called it home who slept on cots which was typical for the hundreds of tents that served as barracks. The latrine and shower tents were a few hundred yards away from our sleeping quarters, which made it somewhat a pain to when you had to go. The crappers where portable units on wheels, 6 poopers per unit, I think 2 units per tent or it could have been 3 units in a latrine tent. The latrines offered no privacy. You’d walk by a unit looking for a place to do your business and see the guys sitting there pooping away while you looked for an empty to do yours.

The showers tents were next to the latrine tents for convenience, about 10 shower tents served the the base populous. Two of the shower tents were designated for the women some 100 to 150 females. That left about 8 shower tents for 1,800 to 2,000 men. The shower tents always seemed very crowed no matter when I went to take a shower. However, farther away down the row of shower tents, especially the last 2 tents farthest away from the American tent city they seemed to be the least occupied. Sometimes empty, I didn’t give it much thought other than we must be lazy to walk a few feet further down the row. Until one day soon, I saw a few Fenchys come into the shower who seemed too eager to see each other, again, I didn’t think much of it at the time and shortly left.

The very next time, I go to shower in the tent farthest away that was almost unoccupied, maybe just one guy in the big tent. A group of French troops come flying in just as eager to see each other, except this time I noticed that these guys were “sword fighting” each other. To be blunt these guys were erect.

The little light bulb over my head went bright. I knew the answer to riddle to why the 5 shower tents were over crowded at all times. The heterosexuals beat feet away from the French homos. I never went near those two tents at the end of the row again. I did look once in the 3rd tent at the end of the row and noticed that it was not crowded, although, it was too close to the French gay bath houses, so I didn’t take a shower in that one too. I had an uncomfortable feeling that the gays may invade the tent. I did what the rest of the straight guys did, we crammed into the last 5 shower tents until our time was up in the desert.

A few days later at work, I heard complaints from a guy who worked for me about the French saying he saw them too ‘sword fighting’ in the showers.

It wasn’t long after that 2 or 3 French guys on the base were arrested for homosexual activity.
