Let’s just say, I am just sceptical of people who spend a big part of their lives living contrary Christian principles, but then turn round and “discover Christ” when they are put in jail or when they are too old to be doing much sinning.

We might diminish sinning as we get older, but we have to live with the sins of our youth.

Praise God that this prodigal son has come home.

At least for people who are in jail, I think it is a rock bottom place. In jail, it may be, that God has the ability to “speak” and you have no choice but to hear. The same situation may hold for people as they get older. The soul has time to hear.

Might consider that God uses people’s failings, going to jail, divorce, drug addictions, etc to get their attention. Sometimes people have to hit bottom before they will listen.
