if so they are stuuuuupid. They are running ridiculously cheap deals right now. $15/mo approximately. They must be hurting bad for business. Alienating fans of the most popular cable channel would be pretty stupid.

My cable company dumped Fox altogether. Their internet division blocks online FNC feeds also.

Write the corporate headquarters and tell them you’re done with them if they don’t change. I was in a unique position with Starbucks to be the first customer to go off on their MSNBC pilot program - directly to the executives who set it up - and a month later it was gone.

Well, the one I went as of six months ago had FOX.
But if the corporation is trying to save money it could be they have gone to basic cable which where we live does not include FOX.
But the bottom line its their TV they can show what they want.
Plenty of gyms around just go some place else.

I’ve noticed that when I stay at the various Hilton Hotels, that the Fox Channel is very high on the list, whereas the CNN, MSNBC is low and easy to find.

Fox News gets better ratings at 3AM than CNN in prime time. From what I read.

It’s their business, they can ban whatever they want.

You know what to do.

I didn't renew my membership because of the way LA Fitness has their TVs. The gym I go to has a tv on almost every machine and all you need is a set of earphones. You control the channel.

When I went to LA Fitness, they only had 1 tv with Fox News and you couldn't see it if there was no machine available near it. Also, I would have to bring a small radio and tune to that channel to even hear it. ot a good set up.

Do you have Planet Fitness in your town? I pay $10/mo and they have Fox and the History Channel right in front of my favorite elliptical machine. Can't beat it (and no, I don't work for them!).

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

You can reach their member services by calling 949-255-7200 and either hit option 3 > 3 or 0 for the operator.

They are able to change the channels but have so far been unwilling to do so. I’ve received 4 different stories as to why they feel that CNN and MSNBC should be your only choices for news and this morning the front-desk receptionist said that they’ve had a LOT of complaints and that she was instructed to “just tell them we’re working on it, but really we’re not”

Their cable TV provider is supposedly a company named “RMG XYZ Inc. Satellite TV Services” (according to the person who answered the phone at member services). I’m unable to find any information about this company on the Internet, has anyone else had any luck? It’s difficult to believe that a company as large as LA Fitness would use a nationwide provider that doesn’t seem to exist under any google search...

Yes I noticed this in my LA Fitness, too (Pittsburgh). I’m going there this afternoon & letting them know I’m not pleased. I understand that its their TVs, etc but if they aren’t willing to appease their membership, then I will go elsewhere.

Only governments censor, private companies can do whatever the hell they wish, don’t like it, go to a competitor.
