There was no downside if she had simply not endorsed anyone. And a considerable upside to that course of action.

KBH is severe downside.
I don’t like the support of McCain though I understand why. But she was right to back Pery. On one side they have a damn truther. The other we have a Washington RINO who’s policies if implemented in Texas would probably result in the state moving it to the Democrat column the way Taft moved Ohio Democrat. Perry may not be perfect but he’s evidently good enough that he hasn’t sent people running to the other party.
