“Trap”? No. It’s going to be pathetic grandstanding by Obama and Democrat Congressional leaders......period. That....does not a trap make.

A trap is usually used to secure one’s prey....securing the prey to kill it (for food or otherwise). If Obama and Co. believe they’ll “kill” the GOP’s opposition to Obamacare with such ridiculously obvious showmanship, they can forget it. Too many are now savvy to their lame tactics, and Fox News, talk radio, and the Internet will be scrutinizing their every word, every gesture.

Truth is, this is the dumbest move Obama could possibly have made.

Any idiot knows this is a trap, we don't need Rush to tell us. So you're out in the woods walking along and you spot a clamp trap, all nicely baited. And it could probably cut your leg off if you stepped on it. What do you do? (1) Some would walk away, (2) some would ignore it and step in it, and (3) some would get a big stick and poke it rendering it harmless. It seems like the potential Republican tactical options are not so different. My choice, poke it with a stick ... and this one is easy with TV cameras watching. Just Poke It! (nice battle cry, I think!)
