BOR had a point that the Tea Party needs a leader. It needs to define its values and have a spokes person to either include or exclude extremists. To say something like: birthers and neo-nazis are not part of the Tea Party agenda. Otherwise the independents, who after all decide things; are going to be fed birther and neo-nazi imagery as equated to the Tea Party. It’s not fair but it’s a marginalization risk that has to be preempted.
Eventually same leadership has to define when to join the Republican Party and under what conditions, i.e. when the GOP becomes RINO free.
We're tired of so-called "leaders" who are only interested in power (especially the power of their egos.)
The power of the TEA Party is that no one person speaks for the whole. A "leader" who will in turn lead the lemmings over the cliff for the candidacy of their choice, to gain personal power themselves.
The TEA Party is a banner under which various people from all walks of life, from all political parties or no party at all, young, old, rich, poor, who simply agree on some core principles - the strongest being, "We're Taxed Enough Already," and we're not going to take it any more.
In that regard, each of us is equal our disgust of "sharing the wealth (our wealth)" as Obama said and most all of us also agree on the restoration of the Tenth Amendment, even if some have never read it or didn't understand what it meant.
What they do understand, however, is they've seen many, if not most of the freedoms their parents enjoyed (for some it's grandparents, others themselves) taken completely away from them and replaced with some pc rules that were designed by unknown people they did not elect and do not wish to have power over them and their families any more and that's why we're riled up enough to change the system back in favor of "We the People" instead of the permanent class in Washington.
What needs to be said is the vast majority of those people are agents provocateurs and some people are trying to break up the Tea Party movement by endlessly bringing them up and demanding people who never had such a thought in their head distance themselves from something they have nothing to do with.
Leftists tried to burn down Seattle and one of the organizers, Jodie Evans, is a frequent guest at the White House. The left ignores the fact it works with crazies. The right should not have to explain what it doesn't do.
