Tonight as I watched, I had an Elmer Gantry moment when Beck lumped in the *birthers* with the *truthers* followed by a *Face in the Crowd* moment.

A movie well worth watching, ``A Face in the Crowd''. If you think Andy Griffith's depth is only that of Sheriff Taylor or Matlock, you'll be surprised by his portrayal of Lonesome Rhodes in this masterpiece. And Elia Kazan, the director, named names before the HUAC.
