The song has nothing to do with Palin, it’s the comment when Chris and her are at dinner “my mother is the ex-governor of Alaska” that has everyone riled up, if I were the girl, I’d be proud. I don’t see the big deal, the context of their conversation at dinner wasn’t demeaning to the mentally challenged at all, or Palin for that matter.
But the song has everything to do with the Down Syndrome girl Chris is about to go out with.
