The muzzies were fighting because infidels invaded one of their own, US aided them because this was a cold war proxy fight.
On a side note, the Afghan communist gov't that the soviets left behind when they pulled out lasted around 3 years - I'll take bets that "our" puppet Afghan gov't doesn't last 6 months past when we leave.
In Kosovo we attempted to prevent genocide against muslims, again we did not support Jihadis who were the very small minority in that case as well.
The genocide thing has been so thoroughly debunked that I'm not wasting my time going there.
I'll concede that jihadis were probably thin on the ground - the KLA is just a criminal operation, but the outside aid received by them was either intended to spread islam (aid from muslim states) or to kiss saudi ass (US involvement).
You supported US actions in Kosovo? Fine, but personally, it sickened me, both as an American and a Christian.
Look, I originally commented on this post because it was being used to slam Ron Paul - all I really know about Kokesh is that when I saw him speak at Dr. Paul's March For Liberty he seemed like an earnest, thoughtful young man. If he's low-life scum, so be it. All I said was that he served honorably in combat, something I never did.
