Sorry. The “Left” is more like 30%+ of the vote. The Democrats could openly idolize Marx, Lenin, Stalin (in addition to Mao, Castro, and Che whom they already idolize) and issue the Communist Manifesto as its Party platform and they would get that segment of the vote.
Agree, Congressmen with a D by their name will be knocking themselves over rushing to the mikes to say they want to spend more time with their family.
