Folks and Friends at Free Republic
I just wanted to inform you that one of the computers I have at home has COMPUTER ASSOCIATES' SECURITY CENTER installed on it as part of the package I have with my recent Internet and cable service provider -- CABLEVISION.
This is the CA SECURITY CENTER VERSION 4.0.0.205
Now, everytime I try to access FR on this computer, it blocks me with the following reason :

I have to override it by entering an administrative password to temporarily allow the FR site to go through my browser.
Out of curiosity, I tried going to the DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND site and lo and behold, the CA Parental Control software ALLOWED the site with no problems.
Just wanted you people to be aware of this double standard.

What are you thanking me for? I was just pointing out that TigersEye was correct. He didn’t use your post, he used mine.
But....It isn't common. For instance, I have seen no profanity, or even suggested profanity with asterisks replacing key letters, yet today.
I have seen all of those words except the “C” word posted numerous times.
You were provided with links to ALL those words on FR and you told me to stop posting them to you. At this point you are WILLFULLY ignorant of the facts.

I thanked you because you cleared up what my brain wasn’t seeing. All I saw was my id being used and I wasn’t seeing it was to me not from me.
Thin skinned isn’t the word for it.

Are you guys referring to c**t as in female genitalia? If so I provided a link to that word. I was on that thread but somehow missed it until I did a google search for it. It was in reference to a teenage girl who had killed someone. The poster called her that word and then threatened violence against her.

But that doesn’t mean they don’t exist, or didn’t exist.
Nobody said there were plenty of posts on FR containing curse words either.
Why do you keep misrepresenting what was said?
And I've seen that one posted on occasion, because I happened to be on the right thread at the wrong time.
That one has the shortest half-life of them all.
And have you not been satisfied with the job the Moderators did when you asked that the offensive comments be removed?
