Hmm... I don’t have a dog in the fight. I just happened to come upon the thread and actually felt a bit guilty, because I have used more profanity of late; sometimes ***ing out letters and sometimes - not...
I don’t think that FR is riddled with profanity at all. Heck, I don’t even see how people can take their children through the grocery checkout, the magazines are practically pornography!
I think the degradation of culture in general, combined with incredibly crazy and dangerous times, are affecting people. Still, educated (and I don’t mean college degrees, I mean people who can read and write etc) people can express themselves without profanity when they try.
And I humbly admit I need to try harder...
