I’m a she too - I had to “hide” myself (got a new screen name in 2003) for personal reasons; all gone now.
I had such a bad mouth - no excuses... I’ve let it go a bit too far lately and I’m glad this subject has come up because I should watch myself. It’s not that I think no one should ever say a “bad” word but if used at all it should be in circumstances that are warranted, and some words are so digusting they should certainly not ever be used in mixed company, which an open forum is!
And when ***s are used, it’s pretty much the same as writing the word (if you can figure out what it is!)
Cussing is the easy way out.
Remember that really long comment (it got embroidered) that people would post? Like a really long insult? No cuss words, just *very* descriptive insults! Now that’s a good example of how to insult or put down using nice clean English words!
I can relate completely. Then again, there are certain subjects that are so maddening, it’s understandable when people lose it sometimes. I’ve never noticed you posting anything inappropriate, though. JMHO. You do a great job with the ping list, btw.
