That's the word. I haven't read this entire thread so I missed that link. That one surprises me. Not a word I use even in the impolite company I keep. Personally I don't have a problem using profanity or hearing it among friends. But if it is accepted on the forum it will drive a lot of people away and degrade discussion into something less than intelligent debate.

And, although the forum isn't really for children there is plenty here for young minds to chew on in terms of political and societal discussion. I know of some children who do read FR and are pretty sharp because of it. It would be too bad if they were barred from viewing conversations about politics and American history here.

I admit I have used some foul language myself and it didn't add to my point.

There was more than one instance but I only needed one to prove my point. Yeah that’s an ugly word.
