You reminded me that each year just before Veterans’ Day I ask our pastor to have one of the four hymns sung be “This Is My Song.”
The hymn’s other name is “Finlandia” which, I believe, is the National Anthem of Finland and was written by Jean Sebilius.
The melody and lyrics are absolutely beautiful and remind me of what our Nation means to me. It might be somewhere on You Tube... give a listen to something beautiful.
