Hunter's great on the positions (except for a bit of a protectionist streak on trade, but that's a minor quibble), but what, if anything, has he done in the last two years to make himself electable?

Has he put together any type of national-level organization? Has he been able to raise a warchest? Why hasn't he considered running for a statewide office (both CA Senate and Governor races are this year, and both appear to be trending toward "moderate" GOP nominees -- if Hunter's "the man", why doesn't he step in and win one of these races)?

This isn't debate class where the person with the best arguments wins. This is about winning elections. What is Hunter's game plan for winning the election, and how is it different from 2008? If there isn't a significant change, then what is the purpose getting your hopes up all over again for a repeat 1-2% finish?

Hunter’s game plan is to help win Congress in 2010. HE’a been all over fundraising for conservative candidates. He’s doing what all the wannabee’s should be doing right now.
