Hollywood may have gone to war, but the Academy Awards Red Carpet was filled with peace and serenity, showy outfits and spectacular ensembles. It was the night for the Leading Ladies of Tinseltown to showcase their best, and the Stars and A-List Celebs came through, glittering like gold, smelling like Chanel and bedazzling us with their chic couture.

I can’t see her hair very well in the glare on my screen, but the dress is excellent.

That was my favorite of the night, too. So pretty, and I love the color!

Whoever that is in your second picture, the blue dress is very flattering. I like that one.

It’s difficult for large women to find flattering dresses, but I think she’s done well here.

It does look odd having the fabric the same color as her skin. I think it would look better with a darker pink.

Reminds me of when my sister and I when we were kids, would have fun by putting both legs into one pajama pants leg (we’d each do it with our own pajama pants) and hop around with the empty leg flapping.

Those asymmetrcal necklines or whatever they’re called are really strange. The red number at the top of thread has asymmetry too. Looks odd.

I like the red dress. I'm glad they have gone back to trying to look good rather than trying to look like birds, ducks, or swans!

George Clooney is pidgeon-toed! BARF!

OMG. She looks like her dress wants to take off into space; but those hips have grounded her.

I wonder if she used pliers to get that dress over those hips.

Some of the women looked really good; but most wear dresses or clothes that are just too tight; especially in the hip area. It’s like a rubber band ready to snap.
