Mittmentum: Romney’s book to debut at number one on NYT bestseller list

I’m surprised. Granted, it won’t sell remotely as well as Palin’s book did, but for a guy who sometimes seems lost in the shuffle of outsized conservative personalities, it’s a nice prize.

Sorry, I don't buy this. I don't see any news reports or blog reports about the crowd sizes at his book signings. Me thinks he used some of his millions to prop up the sales.

I can’t imagine why anyone would buy his book.

Do you think he might be buying a few copies? He certainly has the money to do so.

There’s nothing remotely interesting about the guy.

Mitt must have a huge basement to store all those books he bought.

when you have supposedly conservative sites like Newsmax giving the book away free with a Newsmax subscription, you begin to understand...

I have always assumed there is an element of money laundering to the book publishing business, and I have no doubt there are ways to tweek “sales” in order to push a book that hasn’t sold a single copy yet to the “best seller” list.

This is GREAT NEWS for Mitt's ghostwriter.
What a GREAT JOB she has done to make Romney v.50.

Here is v.40.

“Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

Hotair is full of hot air. The book is #32 on Amazon. There is no way that a #32 book on Amazon will be #1 on NYT unless the RNC bought a few hundred thousand copies.

“Wonder how many truckloads Mitty bought.”

I am sure he bought several. There aren’t enough Mittbots to fill the Capitol Hill shower, much less purchase enough books to put him on a best seller list.
