> Sorry, no malice intended. Did not realize that a link gets dumped (translated from digital into copy) into the rest of the stuff on the subject line,(thread) rather remaining as strictly a link.

No problem -- what you did is fine (post a link to your blog page). It didn't expand in this thread; it stayed as a link.

Here's why I commented earlier. I took your question ("John, should I post this ? http://www.theusmat.com/home.htm") to mean: "May I copy the content of my blog page into a comment in this thread?" And -that- was what I was cautioning against.

Unfortunately, some folks in this forum seem to think that every thread exists as a free billboard, where they can spew a huge amount of stuff (text, pictures, whatever) that they generate elsewhere and copy wholesale into other people's threads. I (and others) find that practice extremely annoying and selfish.

So when it seemed you might be suggesting doing so, I thought I'd raise a caution flag. However, it seems you didn't really intend to do so, so I apologize for making a false assumption.

Also, I applaud your energy and initiative in writing and posting your opinions on your page. Not many folks take the time to think it all through, and make it available to the rest of us. Carry on!
