The CofC’s support for amnesty has always confused me. Illegals are typically the lowest of the low of their old countries, so we are talking about basically 10,000,000 individual basket cases who will pay no taxes but load up on entitlements. Won’t the obvious result of this be an increase in taxes on those who actually make up the tax base, namely business owners?
Further, once these folks become legal they can organize and join unions etc and basically work the system for higher pay, restrictive and anti-competitive work rules, discrimination suits, quotas and all the other crap Hilda Solis is implementing.
How does any this help CofC at all? How can they be so myopic? It’s 5 minutes of pleasure for 50 years of anguish...
And then the career GOP insiders who thing Latinos will actually vote Republican if GOP supports amnesty, just like blacks unswervingly vote Republican because...
- Republicans were the party that brought Emancipation;
- Republicans tried to transfer land/livestock to ex-slaves after the Civil War but were prevented by Democrats; and
- Repbulicans supported Civil Rights disproportionately to Democrats
Fact of the matter is that Dumocrats are the party of free stuff, and that’s what blacks expect from government and that is what the illegals will expect.
More demand for entitlements placed upon an ever-shrinking tax base. It’s hard to see how this turns out well.

At that low wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, so each year, he files an Income Tax Return to get "EITC---earned income credit" of up to $3,200 scot-free.
He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent. He qualifies for welfare, food stamps and no deductible (one-quarter of state welfare payments and food stamps issued in Los Angeles County go to children whose parents are in the U.S. illegally).
He gets no deductible, no co-pay free health care. His children get free school breakfasts and lunches. The kids qualify for monthly SSI checks by faking ADD; the illegal and his illegal parents get SSI by being aged, and/or faking being blind or disabled; SSI qualifies them for Medicare.
Plus illegals don't have to worry about pricey items like car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance, and they qualify for relief from high energy bills.
ALL OF THAT IS COLLECTED WITH JUST ONE IDENTITY Evidence shows illegals establish several identities with phony SS nos and fake documents (which these "poor immigrants" buy from document brokers for several thousand dollars). All those phony identities vote, too.

But this number isn’t high enough for Dem Cong Gutierrez and his 92 co-sponsors. Their Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill includes a provision called “recapture” that will add up all the supposedly “unused” work visas since 1992 and issue them immediately.
This is a complete fraud, as all unused work visas are rolled over to the family reunification category the next year as it is.
Gutierrez' Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill will create 100,000 visas from countries that send the most illegal immigrants every year. According to the State Department, this will mean 550,000 new foreign workers.
AND GET THIS Mexico is the staging area for Third World and other illegals preparing to violate our borders. The Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill rewards Mexico b/c they calculatedly promote illegal immigration.
Gutierrez' bill will make it much easier for more illegal aliens to break in. Under the Bill, to prove they have jobs and were in the country BEFORE Congress passed amnesty, illegals are allowed to use stolen ID's, fake green cards, and fraudulent SS numbers....... without fear of prosecution.
Mexico facilitates the profitable staging area for global illegals to cross the border. Contrary to Obama’s claim that CIR bill will increase border security, it does just the opposite.........
