It's a shame we don't have something in the COnstitution that protects this basic God-given right that all individuals are born with. We could approve something like, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble."

I wonder how many votes we could get in favor of such a radical idea today.

I suppose limiting the number of vehicles in front of a house and parked on the street is a city function but trying to regulate bible studies is a no-no. Would this apply to Koran studies too? How do they feel about Mexicans congregating to dig a hole to cook a goat in?

Um these municipalities are going to run smack into a freedom of religion issue. The first century church met and worshiped in each others homes. All they will have to do is claim that it is a religious issue and they will be screwed.
