Well lookie here. Rumor is, two retiring Tennessee Democrats who suddenly will vote for ObamaCARE are getting cushy government jobs after they retire from the House.

According to Human Events, Rep. Bart Gordon (D-Tenn.) has been promised the job of NASA administrator in exchange for his vote, and Rep. John Tanner (D-Tenn.), another retiring Democrat, has been promised an appointment as U.S. Ambassador to NATO in exchange for his vote!

Buying the Blue Dog Democrats?

Both voted against passage of the House bill back in November.

Yes it is. You cannot promise jobs for votes. I would like to know who made the promises? Nancy or Barack?

Another deal

,North Dakota. Earl Pomeroy,

The only bank in the United States that will be allowed private student loans. North Dakota.

From Code Red:

Code Red has now classified Rep. Earl Pomeroy (D-ND) as a solid “yes” vote on Obama and Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare after another apparent deal was revealed in the Democrats’ bill, this time a special provision for the State of North Dakota.

The carve-out for North Dakota protects the Bank of North Dakota’s existing student loan program and will make it the only bank in the United States that can originate student loans.

$1 billion for New Jersey Drug Companies?

Montana coal miners get special treatment

North Dakota Medicare providers stand to receive higher payments than providers in other states

Union healthcare plans stand to gain $5 billion

How about the special funding for a local hospital in Connecticut? Still there

I knew Bart Gordon was angling for a job from the moment he announced his retirement. With a republican house and senate in Tennessee, and a (probable) new republican Governor, he saw the handwriting on the wall, and knew he would be out anyway. He has been gerrymandering himself a seat for years... edging out of Williamson Co. (which is very conservative and almost ousted him in a primary several times) and into Robertson Co. This man is a true political whore, who would not have left congress willingly.

-a ride on Air Force One and
-a job with Michelle Obama for his wife Elizabeth.

add- a promise of universal healthcare expansion. No employer plans. Single payer.

Oh, they’ll be fine where they live.

Tanner is North of Memphis on the Mississippi River to Arkansas, Missouri, and Kentucky. Tons of Ozark Democrats there who love free goodies.

Gordon is the Nashville suburbs, which has a Hollywood/Manhattan wannabee socialite flavor to it.

Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) Another Deal?

Another Day, Another Backroom Deal to Force Obama’s Bill Down the American People’s Throats?

Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) is the sponsor of the Public Lands Service Corps Act (H.R. 1612). The bill has languished without action for months, but today it will be considered by the House Rules Committee and scheduled for a vote on the House floor this week.

Grijalva’s bill was not originally on the schedule for this week when it was released by Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) last Friday. However, last night the bill appeared on the schedule for the House Rules Committee, which will report out a rule for the bill and send it to the House floor. (code red)

, Dennis Cardoza , Jim Costa, California Democrats

water deal for yes vote.

The U.S. Department of Interior announced yesterday that it is increasing water allocations for the Central Valley of California, a region that depends on these water allocations to support local agriculture and jobs. The region has recently been starved for water and as a result unemployment has soared. Not surprisingly, Cardoza and Costa had a hand in the announcement:

“Typically, Reclamation would release the March allocation update around March 22nd, but moved up the announcement at the urging of Senators Feinstein and Boxer, and Congressmen Costa and Cardoza"

--. Control of water for political gain., evil and corrput.

Obama Now Selling Judgeships for Health Care Votes?

The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today President Obama nominated Matheson’s brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

The timing of this nomination looks suspicious (expose obama)
