I frequent The American Thinker, and often times post threads from their site.
It is not fear that motivates me. And I don’t doubt the outrage of many, justifiably so. This is precisely what needs to occur, rather than a throwing up of the hands and saying “it’s over”.

What history book are you reading? “...small minority...”?
Only about a third of the colonists were in favor of going to war with England for independence. Another third were against and the other third did not have a opinion and would go with the winner.
George Washington started out with many thousands of troops. By the mid winter, half of them had deserted the general. More left before he crossed the Delaware and many were killed as well. By all appearances and any rational opinion, he was beaten. I think he may have thought so himself at times, but he got back up and kept going and seeing this man keep the faith, his remaining troops fell in behind him.
So yes, a very small cadre of patriots created this country and gave us our freedom!
